After months of planning, several trips into the wilderness, and an incredible team effort, the West Fork of Mount Baldy is open again.
Now it’s time to celebrate.
Join us Wednesday, July 29 beginning at 6:30 PM at Luna Lake Boat Ramp for a relaxed evening with friends, trail stories, hot dogs and beans, a little cake, and a front-row seat as the full moon rises over Luna Lake.
Whether you helped clear the trail, supported us with a donation, followed the Baldy adventure from home, or simply love our local trails, this accomplishment belongs to our entire community.
Bring a chair, bring a friend, bring your favorite beverage, and come spend the evening with us. Because some accomplishments are simply better shared.

Meet Aaron Fogle
Lead Sawyer • Co-Founder • Trail Steward
When a trail disappears beneath fallen timber, Aaron is often the first one into the woods.
As Alpine Trail Stewards' Lead Sawyer and co-founder, he has spent countless hours helping reopen trails across Arizona's White Mountains. From advanced chainsaw work and crosscut sawing to mentoring new volunteers, Aaron brings skill, patience, and an unwavering commitment to keeping our public lands accessible.
Whether he's tackling massive blowdowns deep in the backcountry or quietly teaching someone how to safely use a handsaw for the first time, Aaron leads by example. His calm approach, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed have made him an invaluable part of our trail community.
Thanks to volunteers like Aaron, miles of trail remain open for hikers, horseback riders, hunters, anglers, and everyone who enjoys exploring these mountains.
